Grassmere

The Grassmere aggregation is located in Southern NSW, near Oaklands and Urana. The rainfall pattern is winter-dominant and, in conjunction with the Borambil aggregation, provides rainfall diversification to the other NSW farms, reducing production risk.

The Grassmere property was acquired in 2014 and, in 2015, the Calooli property was added to increase the scale of the aggregation to 9,914 hectares of arable area.

In addition to building the scale of the aggregation, investment has been made in roads and drainage networks to improve operational efficiency. Construction of bunkers has raised on-farm storage to a capacity of over 20,000 tonnes, providing savings in logistics, flexibility for marketing, and the ability to direct supply.
